Resources

LINC Philadelphia will connect artists with information and resources primarily through links to those already working on behalf of artists. Watch this space as we add more resource links.

Legal Resources for Artists

Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (PVLA) has recently published a series of legal publications to begin to tackle some common legal issues that face artists today. Topics range from general intellectual property issues and a discussion about copyright vs. trademark to more specific topics concerning visual artists, photographers, and filmmakers. Artists’ Resource Guide Available Online

The Pew Fellowships in the Arts has created an online artist resource guide that is a searchable database of resources broken down by topic and discipline. The purpose of this website is to make basic information accessible to artists regarding resources and opportunities available to them and to give artists a sense of familiarity and even “ownership” of existing support structures. The focus is on resources available to artists living and working in the Philadelphia area although much of this information will be useful to any artist. For more information click here.
