ArtistLINCPhiladelphia respects your right to privacy and is committed to maintaining your confidence and trust. We do not sell or rent any information you provide us through our website. We have created the following privacy policy to inform you about the ways in which we collect and use this information.

Collected Information

ArtistLINCPhiladelphia does not collect any information from you without your knowledge and permission, and we do not ask that you enter any personal information to access or use most areas of the ArtistLINCPhiladelphia website.

In order to use some of the tools and functions, however, such as the forums, you must enter some identifying information. ArtistLINCPhiladelphia does not disclose this information to anyone outside of the organization except

1. To identify you as the person who posted specific content to a forum or other page on the site.
2. To manage our website and database with the help of service providers, who are subject to a non-disclosure agreement.
3. To subscribe to alerts or updates about the site, its services or other relevant services to artists -- if you opt-in for those subscriptions.
4. In connection with surveys or contests, but only if you voluntarily agree to participate in them. 

Finally, as part of research or advocacy efforts, we may use your information as part of aggregated data about the artist community -- to determine the number of dancers in a specific area, for example. This information will be shared only as compiled, unattributed data. It will not include any personally identifiable information.

ArtistLINCPhiladelphia uses reasonable precautions to stored information that you provide in a secure location that is accessible only by designated staff.

Member Account, Password And Security 

For certain features available through the ArtistLINCPhiladelphia website, we may require the use of encryption technologies provided for your protection and/or your use of a UserID and password after setting up a user account.  We use reasonable precautions to protect the privacy of your userID, password and user account information.  You, however, are ultimately responsible for protecting your userID, password and user account information from disclosure to third parties.  You agree to:  (a) immediately notify ArtistLINCPhiladelphia of any unauthorized use of your userID, password and/or user account, and/or any other breach of security, and (b) ensure that you exit from your user account at the end of each session.  While we may provide certain encryption technologies and use other reasonable precautions to protect your confidential information and provide suitable security, we do not and cannot guarantee or warrant that information transmitted through the internet is secure, or that such transmissions are free from delay, interruption, interception or error.

Privacy Outside the Website

The ArtistLINCPhiladelphia website contains various links to other websites, including links to third party service providers.  ArtistLINCPhiladelphia is not and cannot be responsible for the privacy practices or the content of any of those other websites.  Other than under agreements with certain reputable organizations and companies, and except for third party service providers whose services you voluntarily choose to use, we do not share any of the personal information that you provide to us with any of the websites to which the ArtistLINCPhiladelphia website links, although we may share aggregate, non-personally identifiable data with those other websites.  Please check with those websites in order to determine their privacy policies and your rights under them. 

Reviewing and Updating Your Information

You can review and update the information we have on record for you by going to the "My Account" page on this site. If it's your first time using the profile editor, you'll need to provide your email address on the log-in page so we can send you a password.

Communications from ArtistLINCPhiladelphia

When you provide ArtistLINCPhiladelphia with your email address and mailing address, we may contact you to invite you to participate in ArtistLINCPhiladelphia workshops and events. You can choose not to receive such requests on your account page as well.

If you have opted to receive any of our publications by email you are able at any time to unsubscribe on your account page as well.
